About Mark
Coming from a family who have been in the local building industry for generations, Mark has specialised in chimneys and fireplaces for over ten years, beginning his career as a Gas safe (which was then Corgi) registered gas engineer and then becoming a HETAS registered stove installer.
Having lived in two period properties including a 17th Century mud and stud Old Blacksmith’s cottage that he is currently sympathetically renovating, Mark specialises in period properties and the use of reclaimed materials. Ranging from hearth repair to the construction of inglenooks, Toasty Stoves can restore your existing fireplace or completely redesign your fireplace and can source the required reclaimed materials.
